Time of Her Life
Post production has been completed for Greenway Entertainment Ltd's 'A Time of Her Life', shot at the stunning Hyland's House and Ingatestone Hall locations in Chelmsford.
The story, written by Steven Smith, revolves around two ghosts who have roamed the grounds of a family mansion for over 200 years. Emmett, the son of a wealthy industrialist who lived at the house, and Catherine, a beautiful servant girl.
Emmett finds his feelings for Catherine grow, but knows all to well that his father, the Duke, wishes him to marry into a wealthy family.
As Emmett's and Catherine's secret love for each other strengthens, they are discovered by the Dukes footmen, Smith and McCormack, two lowly characters who are ordered by a furious Duke to make sure the servant girl disappears and never comes back.
The complete production was shot over a three period. Production started in Wickford, Essex, before moving onto Hylands House in Chelmsford for the main photography.
Due to restoration work at Hylands House, pick up shots were filmed at Ingatestone Hall, a location used for the BBC drama 'Bleak House'.
